207cc numerous faults

Post by R1bobuk »

Hi all,
well like most newbies I suppose I bring with me some history.
I'm working on a 2009 207cc 1.6 vti. There are numerous problems.
I have Diagbox.
C9AB Fault engine wiring housing
P1025 Variable valve motor programming
P1030 Variable valve motor programming
P1062 Variable valve motor power

The faults are permanent now and stopping the car from running. Yesterday the car ran fine(with the faults) today not at all. Does anyone know where I can get a wiring diagram, its the plugs from the BSI to the ECU I am wanting.
I have ran both actuator tests on the variable valve motor, the relay test I can hear two very quiet clicks, one at the start of the test and an even quieter one at the end. I'm guessing this means the BSI may be ok.
The second actuator test comes back as 'no-fault found' and yet there is no noise to be heard. I am sure the motor is not moving the cam.
I have taken the cam cover off and adjusted the motor using a 4mm allen key. It moves freely. I have also put 12v down the wires that lead to it and found it to move in both directions.
I think the fault will be in the harness probable from the BSI to the ECU which is why I am looking for a wiring diagram. Any suggestions would be greatly received. Thanks

Pop your VIN up so I can ensure the correct diagram - and I take it you want the Injection ECU system.

Mark, are you still there? Is there any other diagrams for the ECU, I can't find the variable valve motor or the eccentric camshaft position sensor. Is there one for timing or firing? or ignition? Thanks

Hello,

I own C4 picasso mk2 1.6 vti, same engine. I need help with Wiring diagram, I most probably have a short in one of the wires. Is this the same like in peugeot 207 if it's the same engine?

Thank you

@:vicstudio

Please start a new thread for this as it is a different vehicle and will be a different diagram. Please include your VIN (please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff).
