Xantia - part numbers

Unread post by moggsy »

Hi there admins,

Would you be able to locate the part numbers for the front and side collision sensors for my 2000 Citroen Xantia 2.0HDi 90 Exclusive, 5 door saloon LHD?

Many thanks :)

Pop your VIN up (automasked on post submission) so we can advise of correct part numbers.

Hi again,

Not that bit I'm afraid! I am after the collision/shock sensors at the front of the car, which as far as I can tell from the very vague diagram I have found are maybe below the rad and one on each side perhaps behind the bumper? Or could that diagram be a red herring too ? (Had a few of those!!)

No such thing exists on a Xantia, The impact sensor for the front airbags is integral to the central airbag ECU. The side airbags have independent sensors on each side (number 2)

Hi wheeler,

Although I now feel a bit of a t**t, you don't know how pleased I am to hear that!

The bumper, rad etc were replaced on my car after an accident years ago, and I was worried that something had been binned at the time. I found a diagram that seemed to support this, but having looked at it again, it's a generic diagram, even though it was on a page about Xantias. Phew.

So now I just need to figure out which of the components she DOES have is making my side airbag light come on :)
