Hi guys,
just bought my first Citroen a 2011 Grand C4 Picasso 165 FAP .
I have an ELM327 app + FAP Citroen/Peugeot and I read a battery voltage of :
11.9 before ignition
10.5 during engine start
13.2 during normal drive
jumping to 14.2 for short periods of time
Is this a smart alternator ?

Re: Voltage on OBD2
Hi.
My C5X7 140 FAP is showing 14,1 to 14,4 when engine running. Could be your BAT is poor.

Re: Voltage on OBD2
Check the BAT connectors (on BAT and cables). If they are oxydized, clean them good.

Re: Voltage on OBD2
yes it does. I had to change accu. few weeks ago. Voltage didn't pass 12,8 V in driving and all sorts off erros came up in ECU. Since then voltage is 12.55V when not running and from 14,06 to 14,46V in driving. Lead accus need more than 14V to charge efficiently. As I said, you might have a voltage drop at connectors, but if your accu is more than 3 years old, ussualy says goodbye. Remember LED accus with less than 12V, when not "running" are considered damaged.
