C3 Picasso Sat nav

Post by mickthemaverick »

Has anyone fitted an after market Double Din sat nav unit into a C3 Picasso using the radio space with the storage below it? Does it fit is all I need to know :)

yes. you might need a double din trim to fill the edges and the connector plug might not be compatible but, yes the space will take a double din unit.

Thanks Dormouse, That is all I needed to know. As long as I can get it in I can easily tidy up the surrounding and the wiring is no issue at all. :-D

When you remove the radio and the cup holder/cubby you will find a plastic strip horizontally across the trim panel (or at least you should if you are first in). Cut it out. You should not need to trim off any of the edge plastic - double din standard fits inside the trim line without a cage. If the edge trim is gone you might need a cage to get a snug fit.
