Welcome to the refuge

Post by xantia_v6 »

With the (probable) impending closure of the Aussiefrogs forum (see: https://www.aussiefrogs.com/forum/index ... gs.143211/) we have set up this space so that Aussiefrogs members have somewhere to contact each other and chat, if they feel the need.

We would suggest that active Aussiefrogs members should register on this forum and post here at least once, so that they can receive messages when Aussiefrogs is no longer available.

Greetings! I joined FCF last year and have found it both entertaining and informative.

Thanks Mike and Chris for the invitation to AFers! Have just struck a slight problem though - I can't access FCF using Firefox or Chrome - only Microsoft Edge is working.

That seems strange. Can you give a better description of what happens with the other browsers? Can you try in an incognito/private window?, as that would avoid some possible caching issues.

I only have Firefox and Chrome(ium) and both work well.

Try clearing the cache, deleting the browser history and all temporary and temporary internet files, also consider running CCleaner.

Thanks for the suggestions re. browser issue. Sorry - meant to include the error message, which was:

"Secure Connection Failed - An error occurred during a connection to frenchcarforum.co.uk. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR"

Anyway, it's fixed itself for the moment. I am currently using a phone hot-spot for Internet access, so if the problem recurs when i go home I'll need to investigate my home router...

Just wanted to say that i really hope the issues that are affecting AF get sorted for the benefit of everyone because it is obviously a very much respected Forum and like the FCF here contains not only technical details but personal experiences of how to get stuff done to keep the cars we like on the road.
Hard to believe that AF has been going for best part of 22 years and FCF (Andyspares) for close to 21 years and there has been a lot of help here provided by AF members.

Now to the good bit :)

This is for 59 Floride :)

I'll sign up too as soon as they agree to my demands:

Never mention Jonny Wilkinson ( Totally agree need to look forward )
Never mention our Cricket team ( We don't even mention ours )
They keep Rolf Harris ( Locked up so he can rot )
And they give Kylie Minogue back ( Have her back provided she keeps doing the calendars [-o< and you keep Jason Donavon )

Looking forward to seeing you :)
