Bought new Delphi drop links for my Mk1 Xsara Picasso. Last set lasted 25k miles but getting clonky.
Nice easy job for a bank holiday weekend...Yes not too bad if you don't encounter a rusted thread/nut on the top ball joint behind the strut - one with a crudded-up and rounded-off Torx hole
Eventually got it off with a combination of an angle grinder that was too big really, and a Hilka nut splitter from Screwfix cranked up with a 19mm socket on a torque wrench - that splitter thing seems to be made of fake metal but it just about got there...
Drop links aren't fun...are they...

Angle grinder every time Takes some inventiveness to get at the top one, but it is possible - certainly on a Xsara TD, a Berlingo, a Xsara Picasso.. an MX5 and more
