A resistance check is not a definitive test that the solenoid is good. The coil may be ok but that doesn’t mean theres not an internal blockage or if the fault is intermittent then the coil may show ok at time of testing.

I agree. There might be something binding or blocking. It might be low vacuum. The fact it is intermittent means you are going to have to go through some basic checks to find if the fault is electrical, mechanical or vacuum related. Hopefully someone will pipe up if they had a similar problem.

There may be a fault in the valve itself. If you have tested the wiring, do the following. Cut the ring and open the valve. Clean the diaphragm and the ring filter inside. There is also a small hole in the place marked with an arrow, which serves to make it easier for the membrane to open the vacuum. You can do this with WD. When you have cleaned everything, pack it, return the ring and put a clamp around it to fix it. And that is that. Also change the sponge in the small filter located under the hood. It is located in a small cylindrical filter. It is a vacuum filter. You will notice that it is dirty, and maybe it has fallen apart.
