Engine need repair fault

Unread post by alibole1 »

Hello
I have a 2014 peugeot partner tepee outdoor 1.6 diesel 2014 my problem is a triangle with exclamation mark on screen, it says 'engine needs repair' and goes into limp mode, its been to garage, put on machine says fan faulty mechanic changed fan, took car away brought it back next day when same light came on, he then replaced all wiring from fan to fuse box, still the light came back on, garage then replaced the air mass flow meter, once again the light came on with reduced revs, could it be faulty sensors?

Hi, and :welc: to the forum.

The first thing you will NEED to do is to get a proper diagnostics done (A Peugeot dealership will probably charge you around £60 for this). However, there are also Forum members who have Lexia clone equipment that should be able to read the error codes in your car. The following link has the details of these members, but not all of them are active, so they may not respond if you try to contact them;
