Good evening,
English is not my mother tongue; please excuse any errors on my part.
I am the owner of a Citroen C5 (2008) 1.6 HDI 109hp. For the past 3 months I had some problems when accelerating at 1200-1500RPM. The acceleration is not linear, it feels like the car is slightly losing power, like small hiccups. I changed some parts that could relate to the problem, but that didn't help. After some weeks I decided to check the throttle pedal connector, in case there was any corrosion. The connector was clean. After that I used a multimeter in volts settings and put the pin of the multimeter inside to connector contacts to check its voltage. Then I reattached the connector to the pedal, I ignited the engine and I got 'check engine' and ESP/ASR error on my screen. After that the pedal stopped responding and the engine runs at 1200RPM constant.
I tried to detach the battery but nothing changed. The diagnostic tool detects these errors: P0223 / P0228 / P1728.
These are the pictures of the connector I am talking about. I hope I didn't make any mistake since it's my first post here.

Did you have these fault codes before you disturbed the pedal connector? if not i would check you have not spread the terminals in the connector when you were probing with the meter.

I didn't have that error before. I don't think I damaged the connector when probing.
Any idea, anyone?
