The 2-tone Xantia and the BX break Dyana shared the same stable, but from the publicity shot here looks like The BX Break Dyana must have been more than just a one-off.

I see back in 2014 this made a slightly off-topic appearance on the thread, following Old uns post where the only thing 2-tone were some bulldogs!

That's the only model I've done an unintentional 360 degree spin in.

Going back from Hereford to Brum on the brow of a hill it just did its thing without any obvious good reason, fortunately nothing coming the other way.

They were very light and didn't stop very well either, the wheels tended to lock and they would slide, at least they did with the 'E' model, they tended to be rather heavy on front wings - at least mine were, bolt on though so they were easy to change.

I had a red with white waist FA VX4/90 and a blue FC at the same time. The FC was called the BITCH because of her road manners. She was never willing to partake of spirited driving! My father's FD took a lot of throttle control and a firm hand on the wheel to encourage around twisty roads and never brake in anything other than a straight line! The only car that has ever caught me out and swapped ends was a Fiat 126 going uphill into a hairpin in the dry! My Wife and I did Navigation Night Rallies in our Fiat 500F. We even won our Class (of 10) and beat my "boss" in the class above one momentous night. We were held at one checkpoint while a marshall checked we were actually on the Enrty List. Happy Days. Our Morris Mini had 3 pt harnesses for the front and 4 pt harnesses in the back for our kids.

To be a proper Battenburg, the colours on the other side of the car would have to be swapped over.....
Sadly no longer a C5 owner :(
