Cherry blossom getting there - oddly the pink more than the white - most of the trees are both.
Freezing out there and alternating between brilliant sunshine, black skies, rain and hail.
Lovely!

Bonus French car! :P
There has been a 'stick' protruding from the ground all winter.
Suddenly:
AA230417.JPG
It has leaves - and there is a smaller one near it.

Been told it may be an Ash seedling and to remove it post haste.
Will let it develop a bit and see what it might be then reduce it to ash as advised.

The Camelia flowered for the first time.

The tiny Olive that I got from my daughter in a pot and chucked into the garden when it outgrew the pot has taken over the corner.

No blosson for me I'm afraid but I did come across a lovely carpet this morning:

On my tree hunt I came across a rather attractive in a ghostly sort of a way old, I believe, elm tree:

Then I wandered on through the woods without any innovative spottings unless you count the lesser spotted MX3 hiding in the bushes:

When I reached it of course I realised it was simply my chosen steed for the day :-D

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

The Bluebell Woods from last year are coming into bloom again, and they look like they will be vibrant with colour in a few more days. As I do not know if the woods are private property I could not go into them.

identifypl@ntnet came up with this so I guess that's where Jay blades was a good clue. I thought it was an embryonic cuckoo pint at first.

Neottia ovata (L.) Bluff & Fingerh.

What a fabulous house, Jim, right down (up) to the little extension behind the tower. The East wing, maybe...
