My Actuators are broken, I can hear the rattling when I try to put to high heat on both sides so to speak. If I to cold there is no noice from the rattling, I guess the plastic wheems are broken or something.
Well I contacted my local scrap yard and they had the actuators in question from a car but they have 5 of them from a single c3 picasso
Are there 5 in the car? Where are they located, I know that they are 3 from a pic I saw here in the forum but the other 2, where are they located?
Appreciate some help here and if there is a diagram or something or real pics, tried to goole it but I only get where to buy new ones.

Re: C3 picasso ac actuators heat
It depends on your vehicle's air conditioning system. There are simple A/C systems and there are Automatic Climate Control versions and versions with independent heating controls for front passenger and driver.
So you may or may not have both air flow distributors and air mixing distributors - and the number of these will as I said above depend on your vehicle specifications / options fitted.
Pop your VIN up and I will see what you have.

Re: C3 picasso ac actuators heat
Hi
great that I have so many motors in the car so Now I just need to figure out which are broken ones instead of replacing them all.
My guess are the mixing motors, so I guess I will need to disconnect them and turn on ac and hear if we have the cracking sound when I put the air from low to high.
Thanks

Re: C3 picasso ac actuators heat
So I need further help on this topic.
Still no heat from the wents.
I have changed and done this:
Filled up the ac since it was mom existing so I have cold now.
Checked the fuses - OK
Changed the ac relay, I think it is called like that, it is placed in front of the radiator fan
Changed the coupe filter
Changed the termostat and filled up with new coolant
And today I changed the actuators but I only changed the 2 on the driver side - Distribution stepper motors and Mixing stepper motors , I should get warm air only on the driver side I assume.
Air intake stepper motor is not changed.
What else to do? Is it maybe the Air intake stepper motor issue or something else?
I dont see the point to change the 2 other actuators on passenger side
Help, Have I missed something?

Re: C3 picasso ac actuators heat
Does anyone know where in fact the Air intake stepper motor is located? is it located under the the ac control, do I need to remove the radio and ac unit to get to it?
And what is the function of it?
And what is the function of it?
Re: C3 picasso ac actuators heat
OK I removed the stereo, the ac unit control to maybe to locate the Air intake stepper motor but I could not se anything.
According the picture from admin number 8 should be somewhere on top?
But I could not see anything, help?
I saw this:
Perhaps behind the black plastic or?
Well Im getting crazy here, well summer is coimg so no need for hot air but sonn winter also.
Could it be the electric heater matrix also, that is my last resort, if dont fix this I will sell the car
