Partner 16hdi low power

Hi , I have a 14plate Partner van that`s down on power , get brief engine fault warning on the dash a few seconds after start up. It feels like the turbo isn`t kicking in.
I`ve run a bunch of checks on Diagbox, there`s no codes for engine faults , there`s one for cooling fan no low speed but fan works when activated.
The only issue on the engine running turbo checks is "actuator fouled", on the engine stopped checks the actuator works, I`ve checked the vaccum at the actuator
and that the diaphram holds and the return spring works. Anyone got a clue? Blocked dpf maybe?

Check all the vacuum pipes. Had one come off when I was changing the starter on my C5 and lost turbo boost.

Mine is a 16v from 2010 not an 8 but I had a similar issue. On a very light throttle in 1st or 2nd does if feel like the speed varies a very small amount? I'd unplug the MAF and go for a spin. It'll throw the MIL but shouldn't go into limp mode. If it drives normally there's your issue....or the wiring going to it.

Reread my post , error msg should be "actuator soiled", a Franaglais translation by Diagbox? Possilbly means dirty vaccum pipes maybe? I remember reading another post about poor power and there was a pipe hanging off a 20cm box at the back of the engine ?

Problem solved ! It was the radiator fan resistor that fits on the front. The resistor legs are exposed and corroded away. It controls low and high speed, if it breaks the engine goes into limp mode.
