For my "N" s its a pair of Nissans

You will have heard of a Self Charging Hybrid.....That's just a petrol car no matter what Toyota try to tell you.
Then there Is a Mild Hybrid....or a Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) just the same thing. Petrol /Diesel are the fuel and you can't plug them in to charge up.
Then the Plug In Hybrid of various configurations which include at the top end of the Electric Only Range larger battery models with a small "range extender" ICE.
Then there is the Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) 100% Electric no ICE.

Most people I speak to tend to do what I do and operate a "detached hybrid" ie they run an electric car and have an ICE car as well.

Well this is my bargain basement set up, detached Hybrid

I think some innovative thinking will be needed for Q cars as it is by the met police who have a fleet of them! :-D However I have found the Chinese company Qoros who produce mainly SUVs which I just don't like, however they do have the Qoros 3 in their port folio which does look rather like a cross between the Tesla 3 and the Mazda 6 but it will suffice for my entry here:

Now that I am onto "R" I can fall back on cars that I have owned. If my memory serves me correctly that is 4 Reliants, 3 Renaults, 3 Rovers and 1 Riley. Sadly due to the previously mentioned disaster with my slide collection I have no photos of any of them to hand but I have managed to find three pictures on the net of identical examples in colour and trim level to the ones I owned. I tried to pick one of the three and then remembered there are no rules so here are all three: :-D

A very good question!! I think it's safe to say it didn't make it to our world but I wasn't worried as this is a "no rules" thread :-D :-D :bd: :bd:

The Renault 20TX 1983 was the only new car my Dad bought, from Fultons at Langley Moor if I remember right.
Had one other Renault, a 25 after that. Fairly sure that was a talking car.
I'll be on to my "R" selection in due course. Next up is "O". Now at one time my dad had a Vauxhall Omega which might fit the bill should anonymous cars make it into my deliberations....

My dad had a Renault 20 TX automatic. Quite nice.

My 11 was a TXE Electronic that talked - or rather ranted. Very amusing but no help at all.

I sold a Renault 25 to one of my neighbours, it talked him to death. :)

That car told me something about shopping around, when I bought it the huge rear windscreen was broken, price to fix damn near £400, I shopped around and Autoglass came and supplied and fitted it for £75. My first encounter with Autoglass. :)

I have decided to plump for the Omega, a 2002 2.2 litre Petrol in silver. Had to be. I knew there was a photograph of it, so I went searching for it. At the back of the mind I did think earlier this year I did go through the packets of photos and some of the slides and pick out the various cars which have been in family ownership at one time or another. After flicking through the lot most of which were holiday photos of my Mum and Dad, and consisting very much of English County Cricket pictures from Somerset/Hampshire/Glamorgan/Worcestershire and occasionally Kent, and loads of pictures of nice gardens, the last packet I looked in...had the Omega Photo, and several others which I had indeed collected together last year.

I don't think the Omega would ever turn your head, nicely appointed and comfortable though it was, so I have given it the Andy Warhol treatment.

Following Steve's excellent Renault display I went out today and came across these two parked one space apart from each other:

Its been a bit of a Renault day on the A to Z of Cars.

and here's another one of 2 Renaults next to each other, this time from the 1980's dug out from one of many many disorganised photo packets.

There is an odd bit of wording on the "Town" hall and first I thought in might be up in Scotland.

The car on the left I am quite familiar with being a family chariot for a while its a Renault 20 TX. The other is a nicely coloured Renault 5.

..and not far from Colyford, just up the road on the A3052

The cute little garage is still there with the pumps (probably just for show), maybe a possible photo stop for your South Coast tour.
