hydraulic pump won't shut down
I have a C5 X7 exclusive everything is good with the suspension it raise and lowers as it should but the pump is on constantly it will not shut off does anyone have any ideas. I have to take the relay out to stop the pump which isn't ideal as I have to keep stopping to put it back to raise the car again, and does anyone have pin codes as it would help

Re: hydraulic pump won't shut down
2 possibilities I can see:
1) Have you checked there is sufficient LDS fluid in the reservoir? The level is checked with the car on level ground and with the suspension on the lowest suspension setting and the level should be between the marks shown:
2) If the LDs fluid level is correct, then it is likely to be one of the height correctors. The data may be telling the suspension ECU the car is slightly too low, so it is engaging the pump to maintain the correct height.
Has any work been undertaken recently where you noticed the problem starting?
