C5 X7 new frip joint clunk

Last year i changed both frip joints and the left one has now started clapping. What i remember the other is Lemförder but this one is other brand. Could it be because of an installation error or just defective part? If someone has the official install procedure I would appreciate if I could see it.

Did the ‘other’ brand cone from ECP by any chance?
As long as you were careful pushing them on can’t imagine you could do much wrong?

The other possibility is the joint/pin in the actual hub is worn?

I don't remember the brand but it was not one of the more popular ones. The pin shouldn't be worn because i had to press the joints in. I guess the part is just shidd then. Weird how fast it failed.

Some of the 'lesser' brands don't realise that the word "quality" should be preceded by the word "high" (and not the word "poor")!
