Pollution Systems Faulty on Peugeot 5008
Hi we’ve had pollution system faulty error come up on our car. We had the turbo cleaned then replaced but again when driving on the motorway it has reappeared- we can’t get above 3000revs and it loses speed uphill- basically it has lost power and won’t go above 70 mph. Any suggestions as to what this might be?

Presumably it's a diesel but which one?
How many miles has it done?

It’s a Diesel and it’s done 94,300 miles if that helps I think it’s a HDI currently on our way to Cornwall to drop the teen back at university, the car is not liking the hills.

That certainly sounds like the engine ECU has gone into a backup mode - and it does this because of an engine or emissions related issue to protect the environment or the engine. Whilst there is a fault it will limit your power, so you need to get it diagnosed as soon as possible really.
You really need to get it read with Diagbox and get the fault codes listed up here. Don't get into the cycle of replacing parts at random as it is expensive and often won't fix the problem unless you have some better idea of the cause. Put your VIN up here (*automatically masked from public view on post submission) along with the codes and we may be able to throw some light on the problem.

So what is the fault code you are getting then?
Re: Pollution Systems Faulty on Peugeot 5008
Ok I’ll check the VIN and ask the garage to run diagnostics on it - this isn’t likely to be until Tuesday or Wednesday now because of the bank holiday.
