"What took em so long?"
It must be because they are so reliable that none have gone wrong so far so there was previously no market for the manual??????

Just shows what a saddo I'm turning into, I've just ordered one and I don't even have an HDi [:I][8D]
Mind you, my next Xantia probably will be an HDi, and I always like to have a look through the relevent manual before buying a different car.
Most people look through brochures before purchasing, I look through manuals......
If anyone wants any pages scanned.......

Anything about the Activa? Or has that system foxed even the gurus from Haynes...?

"The Activa manual (volumes 1-6) will be published in 2017, the remaining 12 volumes will be available sometime after then" [;)]
The description on the Haynes website says it doesn't cover the petrol turbo, so I guess not [:(]

UPDATE
I received my copy of this manual today and really very little has changed from the previous edition. They've added a few pages here & there relating to the Hdi engine & fuel system as expected, but it looks like they are probably taken from the manual of another PSA model. There's no extra Xantia-specific info at all as far as I can tell [:(]
Unlike the original, its printed on that rough/poor quality paper which seems to tear and pick up mucky fingermarks more easily too.
For anyone who's already got another manual covering the Hdi engine, I wouldn't bother buying this one.

The HDi has the hydraulic clutch doesn't it? Anything about that?

Yes, about a paragraph, saying that the early HDi 110 has a sealed hydraulic clutch setup like the 2.1TD, but the later HDi 110 hydraulic clutch is different and the fluid level on these can be topped up. However,
<i>"..no specific information was available for the non-sealed system at the time of writing."</i>
You can really see why this manual took them 5 years to produce can't you....[:(!]
