Well done Mick. Some tremendous resources on Flickr, like the net in general, there seems to be a group for every subject, however niche. Some people like compiling albums of petrol station photos, like Chris Barker

Not really a quiz as there is only one question, but it is a good one! 50 points for the answer on the card:

What is the longest word in the English language?

Deadline 10pm tonight for submissions :-D

Have you been on the English Chess Forum-Off Topic Chat Lounge equivalent Mick :?:

Anyway, I am guessing this one is on your card
from the playground....smiles because there is a mile between the first and last letter
from the words "The English Language" the longest word is Language
the actual longest word in most English Dictionaries is the largely made up and unused
"Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis"

Heres a few for you/and anyone else who cares to join in from the English Chess forum

Which poison starts with six consonants and ends with nine?
What word is pronounced differently if the first letter is a capital.?
Which word becomes shorter if you add two letters to it?
Regards Neil

2/3 3/3 Well done!

There are alternatives for 2 and 3. Well the Chess forum came up with a few...
They started of with word things then went onto maths and number sequences which lost me off.

Here's a number one which looked easier than their sequence thing
Using the numbers 2, 4, 6 and 8 and the simple operations + - x / ( ) Make 25 (obviously you can only use each number once)

Nice, and a good answer (so it deserves 25 points), but not what I had in mind.
