I Spy a 21 Reg Month March 2021

I saw an Audi yesterday, not sure which - A4 or similar. By the growling it was making, it definitely wasn't an EV!!

The camera needs to be out for the full 5 points for an any make spot, Richard, but well done for the noticing. I have drawn a blank today literally so not claiming anything yet....brand new un-number-plated MGZS EV and MG5 EV.

I thought I'd be sneaky this afternoon and drive SWMBO to the shops to get our supplies so duly dropped her outside the door at Morrisons and parked up in the disabled bays with her badge. I then left the car and wandered over to the two charging bays thinking I might get the elusive 21 plate BEV!! Sadly when I got there, no 21 plate to be seen, in fact no BEVs at all:

so rather than have a wasted journey I thought I'd go and have a look at the instructions and costs etc. So is this representative?

Then I decided to wander round the whole large car park in search of any 21 plate:

I only found one 70 plate never mind a 21!!

I have quoted the relevant bit from your post about chargepoint prices and responded on the Electric Vehicles Infrastructure thread. If Simon sees it there no doubt a further paragraph or two will be added

I reckon overall there will be a big drop off in demand for 21 Reg. The fleets with stuff coming off leases will no doubt have their natural turnover and sustain a few sales. While not in full blown mode the "Osborne effect" may be coming into play in buying behaviour. People putting off buying new petrol and diesel, either waiting for 2023-25 when the EV market will have more products and more affordable products, while at the same time carrying the fear factor of the perception of a well-trailed impending ban on petrol and diesel new car sales. I am guessing that the view widely held by the general public is that all diesel and petrol cars will be banned from 2030 incorrect though that is.

Saw a 21 blue Tesla, I believe a model 3, on my way back from passing on some parts to Simon an hour or so ago on M25 hence no picture!!

Been a bit of a flurry of 21 Reg today.

and this from the subject of some discussion today on other threads Honda.
2009 to 2014 the Honda Jazz came out of the Swindon Factory. Our 21 reg probably had a very long trip on a very large ship, before washing up in rural Northumberland.
