Ok, so I would clear the fault codes down, go for another drive and then re-run the global diagnostic test to see what faults are coming up now.
You can always sell your old fuse box on ebay to recover some costs - I know this doesn't help much now, but you can at least rule that out from any further fault finding.
Also, I hope you followed the BSI Reset / Battery Disconnect / Reconnect Procedure when you replaced it. Best to make sure the ECUs are reset.

Any opinion of the code readers readers that can be bought online for about £20, can't expect Paul to be travelling back and forth.

Re: Depollution System Faulty
Of course, I forgot for a moment Paul had been out to help you. Well I would get a fully CAN-compatible one - if you are not going to go through the hassle of getting your own Lexia kit and laptop - which can be a lot of expense for occasional use. Get the best you can afford for the use it will have, but bear in mind a lot of cheaper generic code readers won't be able to read the constructor-specific codes. So have a read of reviews and try looking for some that have reported good results for PSA cars Barry.

Re: Depollution System Faulty
Marc, sorry to bother you again, can you confirm Citroen C5 are OBD Protocol cars, all the readers state they only work OBD II Protocol Cars after 1996

Re: Depollution System Faulty
Yes the C5 uses both the standard OBD II protocols, but there are also reserved codes used by manufacturers for their own equipment / specifications. A generic reader most likely won't be able to interpret or read these.

Re: Depollution System Faulty
The pain goes on but with a chink of light. Fuse box replaced and reset. No change, Engine still cuts out
The chink is the engine now loses revs and won't pick up, before it shuts down....... Diagnostic reader faults say something like [large fuel leak] and [Pressure problem in fuel rail]
Tried feathering the accelerator and changing gear at low revs, on a short run it didn't cut out. But the bloody depollution light keeps coming on.
Fuel filter next before the rail.

Re: Depollution System Faulty
That was going to be my next suggestion - the fuel filter often get neglected but are essential for good flow rates.

Re: Depollution System Faulty
For future reference changed the Fuel and Air filters, after 20 miles of travel no problems, even the depollution warning light has stayed off. Relief. Thanks for your help.
