White Smoke from exhaust

DS 5 2017 Performance Line,

I’d used the car earlier and there was nothing,and then parked up for a few hours, then got in to go somewhere and there were great palls of white smoke coming from exhaust, this went on for about 5 miles, it slowed down and then went to a white?gray?blueish smoke but was nowhere near as bad as when forst started.................................Any ideas, car has done 55500, regukary serviced by main dealer, still under Warranty till December.

Initially this could be water that has accumulated in the exhaust and later may be a particle filter regeneration taking place if you have diesel.
