Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Is that a bit of Bruce Forsythia? I do believe its one of his ancestry's claim to fame...
Regards NeilHis great-grandfather Joseph Forsyth Johnson (1840–1906) was a landscape architect who worked in multiple countries,[6] and great-great-great-great-grandfather William Forsyth (1737–1804) was a founder of the Royal Horticultural Society and the namesake of the plant genus Forsythia.[7]wiki

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
We nearly got missed for the Census one year, my wife passed the person collecting them (they did that in those days) in the farm yard and told her we hadn't had a form, she replied incredulously pointing to our track "does someone live up there?".

Here's a nicer Forsyth.
Órlaith Forsyth - on bass, in the centre.
Billed as Órlaith & Mollie, they are actually Dea Matrona as they have been joined by Mollie's little sister Mamie (McGinn) on drums.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
More crap 'out of the window' snaps.
I was waiting for a Gentoo van to show up - they manage the solar panels, mine had gone quiet apparently. Not one but five turned up.
The house in the center of the photo, with solar panels on the roof, came empty about a month ago. Lots of stuff has been removed and it looks like it is being refurbished before being let out again.
A sixth van has just arrived.
May have to visit those trees with an axe, always in the way.

Another day, another church
This one should be very easy to identify even though not a lot of it is visible

Well I have to presume its this Jim, St Peter and St Paul right in the heart of Paggers, from lets say the back side which on street view gives very little to look at, with the yew looking slightly more raggy than in this pic.CitroJim wrote: 23 Mar 2021, 09:46 Another day, another church
