Thanks for the additionals . Spotted that image on a "Feu Orange" random quest.....we do have a thread about them on the FCF.

Feu Orange. King of air freshners

If on your meanderings you come across some interesting or awful Dashboards that catch your eye post them up :-D
Keeps the forum flowing both for participators and viewers.

While I've always liked the instrument pod on the MX5 I have to say that I think my Subaru just has the edge as far as the central instruments are concerned, I think it's probably a red needle thing:

Can someone tell me please?

I have to say that I do like the instrument panel of a C5 Mk2 when it is lit up. Sorry about the focussing, but any further out meant the steering wheel started to make an appearance.

Yes that is a decent layout James, maybe try dimming the dash lighting and take the picture again and you should improve the focus. :)

Thanks Mick I think you would be on the ball there, knowledge from previous ownership?

They seem to go with a bit of Feu Orange....this one not quite the same but there's the king of air freshners in the pic.

No not me but a friend had one in the 70's and we all used to rib him about not being able to watch the road because he was always looking over the clocks!! :-D
His was, what I percieve to be, the classic metallic purple with black leather and the wooden trim, looked lovely and had I not got the RS2000 Mk1 I would have been tempted to have it off him when he finally sold it in the mid eighties!! I did try and emulate the guage collection by fitting a full set of smiths guages to my Reliant Mk6, mounting them in the engine shroud and looking really odd!! :-D Just like this:

Like that James and I agree I love to see a lights-on pic of the instrument panel really brings them to life.
My efforts at photographing my end of month mileometer readings, very often need a few goes to get one that doesnt look like an inferno! particularly with the Micra, the Leaf is a bit more cool blue.

Agreed :D The Feu Orange will need to be binned though as they always used to make me sick... To me they smelt revolting
