Looks potentially quite special :D

Forgive me but what does the acronym BEV stand for? Battery Electric Vehicle or something from more exotic?

Jim, you are correct with your assumption. BEV does indeed mean Battery Electric Vehicle.

Apologies for the jargon!

Over to KIA who are doing a similar "reveal in parts" of their new EV6 Model..Rear lights :-D

I also watched a 2021 Rebranding of KIA video. Very subtle but the change in font on KIA has more deliberate symmetry and the upstrokes...yes positivity :-D

They have also changed their name from KIA Motors to simply KIA. (Branding more products more services not just a car company).

and also they have taken possession of a naming concept for their stable of future electric vehicles. Its beautifully simple. As you might expect they are starting at EV6....

EV1,EV2,EV3,EV4,EV5,EV6,EV7,EV8,EV9.

and as posted on another thread KIA have adopted a brand marketing phrase "Movement that Inspires"

...er sorry but I like that type of stuff even if most of it is BS :-D

Looks like a Rialto to me, or is it something a tad older? :)

Then a tad older it is!! A Super Robin, the prequel to the Rialto and should have been the transport for Batman's mate!! :-D

Might as well have the rear of the Sprite too. Don't know whether its because I had a toy Austin Healey Sprite as a boy but I just find that incarnation pleasing.

Circular headlamps as on that Robin and Sprite do indeed look good... Simply elegant compared with so much lighting over-styling we see these days...
