Hi All,
I would like to ask about 2 things:
1. I'm after a wiring diagram for the Mass Air Flow meter for my C5 X7 1.6 HDi VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]. I have a P0104 code and MIL on which suggest either the wiring or MAF itself.
2. Has anybody actaully ever managed to install and run SEDRE on win 10 without running Virtual Machine for win 7/8 ??
Best regards,
Peter

As per your PM Peter, here's the Injection Diagram:
1310 is your MAF.
Wires
1340: Air temperature at the air flow sensor signal
1203C: Injection ECU power supply
1333: Inlet air flowmeter signal
1336: Air flow sensor earth
Other Hardware codes are on the Wiki here:

Hi All,
I have cleaned the MAF with contact cleaner (throughout) and the MIL has not came back. The air filter was clogged so replaced that as well.
Problem solved.
Kind regards,
Peter

Re: [C5 X7 2008 1.6 HDi DV6TED4] - MAF Wiring diagram
Hi all,
The joy didn't last long.
The MIL came back on with the only code being P0104 again. There are no other symptoms I can see i.e. lack of power, smoking etc.
I have now done the full service including oil and all filters + timing kit and WP..
After clearing the codes, the MIL goes off but P0104 remains in the memory of the ECU (no MIL straight away)..
I will check the MAF this week with the oscilloscope and then I'll check the actual wiring and provide you with an update.
UPDATE: I have checked the wiring for the MAF and it's all fine (1203C: Injection ECU power supply, 1333: Inlet air flowmeter signal, 1336: Air flow sensor earth).
Ran a bench test simulation with the oscilloscope with the pull up resistor and the values match what the factory says :/
I can now suspect: The ECU at fault or somewhere, alongside the air intake, another sensor (or the EGR?) giving false reading (like barometric pressure etc.) and causing the coherence between the 2 and as per the fault table, it picks up the MAF instead (seen these on other engines before...)
Should I be 100% certain what causes the issue I will obviously post it in here...
Kind regards,
Peter

The issue remains intermittent. It comes back once in a blue moon. I suspect the ECU to be at fault but won't be replacing it :-/ I've checked all the wiring and seems to be fine. I have tested the mfm on the bench with oscilloscope and it works as per mfr specs..
