HP pump noise

Hi there, I've been putting this off as I'm sure I'm not going to like what I hear... My Xantia has never clicked since I had it ( 6 months) it just makes a strange sucking noise for a second or so, but everything works fine apart from that... and there is a good minute or so between these strangled noises since I changed the acc sphere... Can anyone set my mind at rest, or should I drive around expecting the pump to commit hari-kiri any moment?

This is perfectly normal - indicating the regulator is loading the pump every once a minute - topping up to maintain a steady system pressure of approx 160bar.

Hi Anders... I feel a bit better now, -reading this site can sometimes make one fear the worst ! although my Xant has been fine, as was the previous ZX, (and the BX before that.. where I used to frequent the BX diy site that you helped out so much!!!)
