307 atf fluid Dexron 6 at 106k miles

Hey guys thank you for welcoming me here. My pug 307 1.6v 2007 auto has now reached 106k miles and Ive had the fluid changed, what was put in was Dexron 6 (I know the recommended is Esso or Mobil LT71141). But I have found contrasting threads on here. Some have tried Dexron 3 before and it lasted. Just want to ask, anyone had any experience with Dexron 6? Supercedes Dexron 3 anyway. On 350miles after the change and there are no low sides (hopefully) and is shifting much better than prior the change tbh. Thanks a lot!

I think you have all the info you need really. Some say that a synthetic fluid that meets spec is fine. Some say only LT71141. How can you ever know fully? The evidence is not conclusive or exhaustively tested aftermarket. It is only opinion. If you stick exactly to spec LT71141, you have no questions to ask.
