Evening all
I recently brought a 2nd hand pair of genuine Citroen roof bars for my '09 C5 Tourer but they're missing 2 of the soft rubber pads that clamp against the cars roof rack.
I know I can just use some inner tube as a replacement but I just wondered if there is a place that actually stocks the separate parts?
Any info is greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Re: Roof bar spares
Mine wouldn't fit properly so I used some tap washers that were kicking around.

Re: Roof bar spares
Under the clamp. i.e. between the roof and the foot of the clamp.
Mine had no roof bars but some fastenings under little 'trap doors' but the supplied bolts were a bit long and the supplied washers too thin so it wasn't held securely. Had tap washers lying around so substituted them.
Gone now so no photo's unfortunately.

Oh no all I need is the rubber pads that clamp between the bars and the roof rails on the car.myglaren wrote: ↑27 Feb 2021, 11:04 Under the clamp. i.e. between the roof and the foot of the clamp.

Not sure where you might get such material. We used to get it at work, under the straps the held the packs of MDF together when they were delivered. A sawmill might have some - or somewhere that uses lots of MDF.
eBay may have something suitable.

If you've put a link in the response I can't seem to see it sorry. Thanks for that info though.myglaren wrote: ↑27 Feb 2021, 11:25 Not sure where you might get such material. That is weird, the link was correct when I posted it. I did put the NHS link in inadvertently but then erased and replaced it with this one
