Just an observation from me... my DS7 is now just over 2 years old and I had an advisory on my last service that the tread on my rear tyres was close to minimum requirements. I've just replaced them having done around 21,000 miles. There was, by contrast, still plenty of meat on the fronts. I was a little surprised at that, as all of my previous DS's - also front wheel drive - ate front tyres long before the rears.
I'm curious if anyone else has noticed the same?
For info, I decided to change the Goodyear tyres on the rear to "Pirelli Scorpion Verde Seal Inside" bought from Black Circles and fitted by a local garage. I plan to put them on the fronts when they need replacing too.

Re: DS7 Tyre Wear
If the stories of hard bouncing around the back and 'skipping' are anything to go by I could understand why they are wearing out. Perhaps driving round with a few bags of cement in the boot will help!

Re: DS7 Tyre Wear
I can't say I've experienced that, or at least not at a level where I'd noticed it... I did have the rear suspension arms replaced in November (mentioned in another thread), so that might also have contributed to the extra wear. Didn't consider that!

It may be worth checking on your vehicle, but replacement of these items usually requires checking the rear suspension geometry settings. There may be some adjustments on the back that you would not normally do, unless like you, this type of work has been carried out. I wouldn't put it past them to forget to check alignment that has caused the premature wear, although I can't say what constitutes good tyre wear on the DS7.

Exactly the same - 22,500 miles. Never had a car that eat the rears before the fronts but still 4mm on the front!

Re: DS7 Tyre Wear
i have only done 13.5k miles and I cant see any discernible difference between front and rear. Will monitor it but hardly doing any miles at the moment due to covid and the wife's new fully electric ID.3 An RWD EV in the snow is an interesting experience!

Re: DS7 Tyre Wear
just limped to 26000 and have to change all 4 tyres on DS7 as front 2.2mm with near side back on legal depth 1.6mm gauges on tyres, they should be around 5-6mm for my driving at least, awful added expense for rear tyres cannot quite believe it have never had this on a front wheel driven car weird...

Re: DS7 Tyre Wear
Hi, a bit late to the party here (got the car at the weekend)...
I've noticed from the graphic that it seems to drive the rears as a preference, and as electric motors are torquey, I wonder if this adds to it.

Re: DS7 Tyre Wear
I have done 44k miles in my DS 7 PL and am just putting the third set of tyres on the back. Fronts were replaced for the first time around 5k ago.
I have also had the issue with the rear suspension. Firstly the creaking, then the full suspension bush failure. I think the rear suspension allows for some rear wheel movement which dramatically wears the tyres.

Re: DS7 Tyre Wear
In the tyre wear at the rear even across the tread?
