Colour transforms the look of a car from that's an odd looking little thing, to I quite fancy one of those :-D

That just goes to reinforce my belief that yellow improves most cars ;) It definitely does that one :D

I do like an interesting/unusual name for a colour, and yes just like nail varnish and lipstick, colours for marketing are rarely called Red/Blue/Green/Orange/Yellow/Purple/Grey/Black or White.

So we have had this colour in Citroen's Beige Palette which I found interesting. Deserves a spot on this thread. Shortly I will put up a Volcano Orange Car.....inspired by Etna Erupting on POTD. Is there a genuine car paint colour to celebrate the Mars Landing.....is there a Mars Red shade, or a Perseverance Purple....

See if you can add anything, an interesting car colour name. and/or a link to current events etc

One of Citroen's finest Beiges is named after this.....(and not the town made notorious by Betjeman, David Brent, and Citroen)

Surely it'd have to be a green colour, as in - Little Green Men
Sadly no longer a C5 owner :(

While researching to contribute a "news colour" I came across this site for the Morris Minor colour range with pictures of both the saloon and the traveller in each colour. Too many to post up here so go and have a look here yourself!! Rose Taupe Traveller or Clarendon Grey Saloon would be my choices! :-D

This is an excellent site for a play. Just clag anything in as a filter on the colour description field and it comes up with a list across manufacturers. I put in Mars and it came up with quite a few. https://www.carcolourservices.co.uk/car-paint/

Ford had a Mars red......as did Mercedes
