Never seen a body height sensor on a Boxer, whats it for? HID headlamps or some sort of air suspension? Is it factory fitted & have you tried the dealers?

It's for the rear pneumatic suspension. £240 from Peugeot.

grrr, reluctantly bought one yesterday just fitted. dashboard now says level -3 which it didnt before but compressor wont run. no codes and there is power to the compressor.

What code reader are you using? Diagbox is preferable if you're not already using it as not all the aftermarket ones can read all the ECUs. If you are already using Diagbox, you may need the additional S1279 module used on commercial vehicles (which includes the Boxer III) and some FIAT variants to talk to all the systems.

What made you think that the height sensor needed replacing? What was the original problem?
