Citroen relay unlocks but won’t lock

Hi. I have a 2008 Relay. A couple of days ago I started getting a beep and door warning light on the dashboard. I checked doors obviously they were all closed securely. I started with the back doors and noticed a wire broken so I sorted it. The warning light was still on and beeping on and off every time I hit a bump. I checked the other door at the back and found a broken wire there too so I soldered that. The warning light on the dashboard was still on and it was still beeping as I went over bumps. I disconnected the connector on the right-hand back door. Then realised that None of the doors would lock. I reconnected the connector and now the unlocking works but when I try and lock I just get flashing indicator lights. As there is only one fuse for the control unit I will check this but very much doubt that that is the problem. Can anyone advise?

Id have a look at the wiring that goes between the body & front doors. Pull back the rubber boots & check for broken wires.

I have checked all wiring. The repaired wires at the back doors are soldered well, there is no damage at all at the front doors. So now the van will unlock but when I lock it the indicators flash rapidly but the van doesn’t lock.

What is the last 8 digits of your VIN ? I will try & have a look at a wiring diagram tomorrow?

Cleaning the locks' connectors, which are probably inside the door, may help solve it.

Thanks guys. I found that the side door was kicking up the fault don’t know why, I never use it and it’s deadlocked but slamming it again did the trick. Easy in the end .
