C4 II DPF wiring diagram
Hello,
i have an issue with warnings from DPF and the eolys pump.
i tried to replace/refuel(eolys) and reset the counters but it said that have no communication(old deposit and also with new deposit). So i guess there is some broken wire or fuse that is blocking communication. Tried to find some wiring diagrams but couldnt. do you have or could you guide me?
Regards
Duarte

Re: C4 II DPF wiring diagram
It needs diagnosing - playing about with wires won't help. The additive system on these is controlled by the injection ECU on a C4 (B7). Can you please explain what you mean by "old deposit and also with new deposit"? I don't understand this. There is no separate additive ECU, so if you cannot communicate with your engine ECU then I would say you have other problems - or your diagnostic tool is not a full chip CAN version.

Hi Marc,
Thanks for your fast reply.
when i said there is a communication error i mean that i get the error when i am trying to reset the values after replacing eolys(powerflex in this case). All other functions and readings are ok. That is why i suspect some broken wire or something from the eolys unit(that as replaced) itself to the injection ECU.
Many thanks in advace

Re: C4 II DPF wiring diagram
Ok, so what version of Diagbox are you using? Sometimes there are issues with the software version. Sometimes it is better to try an older version to sort this out.
Just to check - you have done a Global Test, then gone into the injection ECU and looked for the repair / Reset additive options? They can be in several places - so make sure you have tried them all. Also make sure your car battery is fully charged as the car can go into economy mode.
But if all else fails pop up your VIN and I'll see if I have the circuit Diagram you need - but no guarantees.

Re: C4 II DPF wiring diagram
Hi again Marc,
yes i tried to reset it like that. also battery is ok.
VIN number is VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
If you find the diagram it would be great
Thanks

Ok, you're in luck, here you go:
1283: fuel additive pump
1320: engine ECU /
1344: upstream exhaust gas high temperature sensor /
1341: particle filter differential pressure sensor /

Re: C4 II DPF wiring diagram
Thanks Marc.
Since reading is OK but only the programming gives "no communication" do you think it could be some wire between injection ECU and BSM or BSI or something?
Thanks
Best Regards
Mário

Hi Mário
Not from experience here - that issue usually indicates a diagnostic interface / tool problem to me. I've seen it before where either some of the VCI clones or the software versions just won't reset it. It's usually a trip to the dealer to do to get it reset if this happens.

Hello GiveMeABreak, I've been looking at the wiring diagram you posted along with the directory notes. I'm curious what 1032 is ( left of 1283 is it seems to communicate with it as well as ecu).
I know it's an old thread. Thanks

1032 is the Electrical Supplies Protection and Management Unit fitted to this specific vehicle.

Re: C4 II DPF wiring diagram
I'm a new member with an AdBlue tank problem. I've seen how well respected Marc is in the Forum. I hope Marc can help but don't know how to reply to him. So trying a reply in this thread. I own a 2015 C4 Grand Picasso. The AdBlue level sensor is playing up. Plenty of fluid but still low level. Last time, in case I overfilled tank, I completely drained it and refilled it to correct level. Urea message did reset. 2 months later the level low message is back. I don't want to replace the tank until I'm sure it's not a wiring fault. Are you able to point me in the direction of a wiring diagram for the SCR system?
Many thanks in advance of any advice you can offer. And I concur with everyone else in recognising your contributions.
Thank you
Rob

I'll never again buy a car that uses Adblue.

Re: C4 II DPF wiring diagram
Hi Rob, this is the correct place - either in responding to an existing thread or creating a new one yourself.
I don't have a diagram for the SCR - specific systems on this vehicle, sorry.
I can only suggest you check the adblue injector and make sure there's no fluid leaking or it is not blocked inside. Unlikely to be the NOx sensor or you would be getting other pollution warnings, so that leaves wiring or the tank. In many cases it unfortunately is the tank or the pump assembly, as the pump is integrated inside. Not sure how many miles you have on it, but looking at the years, it's likely out of the seven year Citroen warranty suggested for the adblue tanks.
