Berlingo hard starting no dash lights

Hi ive got a berlingo , i didnt use for afew months and had to jump it off to start , when it started all the dash lights went out so i turned it off disconnected battery for afew mins then they came back on , but since then ive had trouble starting ive bought a new battery it turns over fast and does start but the dash light still go off . Anyone any ideas please , before i didnt use it i had no problems with the dash lights .

What engine size is in it? Petrol or diesel?

His its 1.9 diesel non turbo

Checking all fuses would be a good starting point. Then the battery to chassis earth, maybe connect a single jump lead between the battery negative & body. Have you confirmed the battery is being charged?
