Citroen C5 HID headlight adaptation (leveling) reset

Automatic headlight leveling doesn't seem to work after installing Valeo's headlight (with HID, but not oem I guess). Local Citroen dealer tried to run adaptation but couldn't do it with OBD. Is there any way to do the reset with removing battery or accessing hidden menu by pressing gas pedal down for 15 seconds?

Citroen C5 X7 2009 with "airdream" suspension.

No such voodoo I'm aware of, it's not a Ford.

HID headlights are the work of the devil. My Leon's xenons wont work properly without using genuine valeo ballasts which cost nearly £400. They light up but dont self level or peek round corners like they are supposed to.

To be fair, it's not the HID-ness of the lamps but all of the too-clever-for-its-own-good gizmos that have been put on as well.
