Xsara Picasso remote circuit board 433MHz

Post by Foxy0-0 »

Good Afternoon All,
I am hoping someone would be good enough to help me sort this issue. I have a new remote, key and blade and transponder but need the correct circuit board for my later 2008 Xsara Picasso remote FOB.
I am hoping someone could tell me which board I need to purchase . There is apparently a serial number on the boards. Perhaps someone with a similar year could take a peek.
Many thanks and sorry for inconvenience but here's hoping.

That type of key already has the transponder chip on the board so you don’t use a separate chip, you only use a separate chip if its for a plain non remote key. One like this should do with an ID46 chip on board.
The problem is if someone checks any numbers on theirs it won’t necessarily be the same one for yours. Cheap Chinese keys are likely to be hit and miss although i have used quite a few without any problems.

Thanks very much . Looks like I don't need the transponder chip I purchased. Never mind. I'll try the link .
Cheers

I reckon that you could take the electronics out of the old key and put the new ID46 chip inside. The blade will be correct already and you'd only have to pair the key in to have a spare (non-remote control) key.

Yes, That would work if the OP is OK with having a non remote key.

We dont actually know what the scenario is, are all keys lost? or just needing a spare? Remote just not working?
