I now know my TOH was wrong! However it appears the Ireland and Germany offer shipping forecasts for their sea areas, being the Atlantic and Irish Sea and the North Sea and Baltic respectively.!! The last 3 broadcasts a day
Spoiler: show
began 30th March 2020 and continued until July.

I see its the usual suspect dropped the shipping forecast down to down to 3 last year.

I did notice from my delve back to the 3-day week that the along with ITV BBC Television had the plug pulled on them from 10.30pm, not sure if it extended to vital things like the 00.48 shipping forecast on the Radio.
From 1 January 1974, commercial users of electricity were limited to three specified consecutive days' consumption each week and prohibited from working longer hours on those days. Services deemed essential (e.g. hospitals, supermarkets and newspaper printing presses) were exempt. Television companies were required to cease broadcasting at 10.30 pm during the crisis to conserve electricity although this restriction was dropped after a general election was called. The Three-Day Week restrictions were lifted on 7 March 1974, the same month the oil crisis ended.

The Thames is correct. Not Abingdon. Try the full video as posted on the Electric Vehicles what's available thread for maybe a few more clues/ location pics than given in the still.

I would say that it is much further upstream than Abingdon, going by the size of the arch. I would say it is further upstream than Newbridge (which I have been through/over several times).

You are right James, but its 10 Miles further on from Newbridge and Mick has got it spot on

The full video is worth a watch, one of the few 100% electric Cars Made in the UK. I noticed a sign post to Lechlade when he was driving around so was in the right sort of area to nail it down.
