Seeking CX Air Flow Meter

Post by mixedgas1850 »

Hi there, I'm new to this forum, but not Citroen ownership! As some are aware (based on my posts in the Facebook CX group) I am actively looking for an air flow meter for my CX.

My car is a 1988 CX 25 GTi Turbo 2, and it uses a Bosch air flow meter - Bosch part number 0 280 202 099.

My car came with the incorrect air flow meter from a BMW, so I don't have the correct air flow meter to rebuild.

I'm happy to buy one that needs a rebuild provided the circuit board is not worn through.

I'm in the USA, but happy to pay shipping.

Thank you!
Mike

:-$ Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES must Jim see this post.
He could come over all uncontrollable at the sight of a white CX.

Mike,
Have drawn a blank in searching for that Bosch part number, but you could try entering your VIN on this Bosch site (which for some reason, doesn't seem to list Citroen)...
https://www.boschautoparts.com/en/auto/ ... ow-sensors.

I don't have the OE Citroen part number (you might have it), which could help.

Thanks guys, I remember you fine gents from my XM days! The XM has a new home, and was replaced by this CX.

I believe the Citroen part number for the air flow meter I need is 95 635 036

Thanks!!!

In the event I cannot find the correct air flow meter, does anyone know of a company making reproductions? Thanks!
