Cobra a4615 alarm

Hi everyone,
I’m fitting a cobra a4615 to my 2014 Citroen dispatch. Does anyone know if it’ll need activating within the vans settings to work? Or will it just work when fitted?

Im not sure on this 100% but when i have looked at aftermarket CAN bus alarms on ebay etc many sellers ask for the make & model it is being fitted to so it can be programmed for your car.
Im not sure exactly what will happen if its not programmed if it will be total non operating or just some features wont work correctly.
Only one way to find out.

Thanks, I’ve got it programmed by the seller for the van but I wasn’t sure if say the ecu needed something doing to say an alarm is now fitted

I've been told by Vodafone, it should all work without further intervention, once they've done their programming of the unit itself. I'm currently installing one to my 2017 Berlingo and started a thread about one of the suggested connections going to the BSI.
So, you "should" be ok. Just make sure you've the full instructions if you're doing it yourself.
