That photo for the Secret Sussex calender is supposed to be at Stedham Common - which I put up a photo from not so long ago.... though I'm not too sure it isn't Ipiing Common which is next door. Weather and enthusiasm permitting, I might venture out tomorrow to try and find that spot and take my own photo :)

Not necessarily that photo, but it would be disappointing if you didn't make a contribution of an original photo taken on New Year's day 1st January 2021.....even if it has to be an indoor one :-D

No calendars in the house, if not a colander will do :-D

This is a joining in thread, come on joiners in lets have some photos!

Of course, important thing is that it is an image taken this very day, doesn't matter what it is :-D

I hope you made an announcement, should there be an assembled throng at Bobins Manor, that you were just going to take a picture of a sieve and post it on the French Car Forum. I do think odd behaviour, and others reaction to it is always an added bonus :-D

Not a sieve but will Chris Sievey, AKA Frank Sidebottom, do?

Sadly not my own photograph. Nor really anything to do with New Year's Day. Excuse my whimsy.

On New Year's Day when you emerge for your "exercise"/ dog walking/ bike riding/ or just wandering around your garden join in take a photo and post it up on this thread.

Got to be the simplest Day one task ever. Everyone has a camera. You don't even have to leave the house...take one from your armchair, photograph an album cover or a book, even take a picture of Champion the Wonder horse on your television (might have to time travel back to the 1960's I admit.)

Your FCF needs you, come on flood the thread with some January 1st photos, no photographic skill, or interestingness threshold.

As ever as the clock strikes midnight on January 1st entries close!
Regards Neil
I think we are entering the "indoor" photography stage now, unless, we do indeed have some FCF members who took their photographic devices on a walk earlier today and took some original January 1st 2020 photos.

I think we have discovered 3 FCF households that have no 2021 Calendar, and only one with a colander....unbelievable :-D

and Paul thanks for joining in. I have just turned your frank sidebottom into an original photo taken on January 1st 2021,

I need one and can't exist without one... I need it to remind me what day it is ;)

Otherwise I'm in serious danger of forgetting... One day is much like any other in my world...
