A rather less obvious picture for this as I refuse to use Porsche in my posts!!

Re: How many miles in the month?
No idea on the cars, except Daffodil which was zero!
I can tell you my yearly running and cycling figures though...
Running: 1930 miles with 315 miles in December alone...
Cycling: 7243 miles with 2647 of those done on the Turbo Trainer...
I'm very happy with that given an event in March almost ended both my cycling and running career...

Re: How many miles in the month?
Well for those who know their base 10 to base 28 conversions this phillips 334A is an appropriate picture for the micra milometer at the end of December 2020.

If that's not a cop out I don't know what is!!! How many FCFers use base 28!!! Please accept this with my compliments and a Happy New Year to all our readers!!NewcastleFalcon wrote: ↑31 Dec 2020, 17:24 Well for those who know their base 10 to base 28 conversions this phillips 334A is an appropriate picture for the micra milometer at the end of December 2020.

Re: How many miles in the month?
The randomness is more than enhanced with a bit of creativity. Chance to see the Philips 334A for a start...there's even a you tube video of a working one with someone fiddling with the tuner, and should you wish to see one with its clothes off pop over here to the vintage radio thread! . More bang for your buck than the train wagon I thought, which I did come across, and my other alternative would have been an Ella Fitzgerald 1940's foxtrot....pleasant but a bit same-ey with my Leaf selection.

Re: How many miles in the month?
February is almost upon us so its end of month mileage time. Not planning firing up the MIcra or Switching on the Leaf so I'll have a little bit photograph of my end of month totals in a moment.
I find this a useful little exercise. I wonder how many miles I have done in the last 12 months, but having participated in the thread all year I can be quite precise. I enjoy the random number side of it with the end of month reading being the precise result of many journeys of random length.
So if anyone wants to join in, please do. Linked pictures to the numbers generated not compulsory, but add to the enjoyment I feel.
Regards Neil

Re: How many miles in the month?
As usual I only know for sure my bike and running miles...
300.1 miles running and 470 miles on the bike, mostly virtual on Zwift...
Daffodil has done 25 or so and Sally I'd say around 100!
I must try harder to note my car mileages in February...

Re: How many miles in the month?
Do a mileometer photo for the cars in your stable and post them on the thread to give you a Feb 1st Start point Jim.
I'm sure there will be a little bit of random entertainment from the starting numbers.

Having such a low mileage gives me the opportunity to dip into the London Bus Archives to produce this image:
