I have a 57 C5 estate & recently, the green warning light showing the headlights are on, has started flashing.
What does this mean? Have checked all lights & they seem ok.

Re: Flashing head light dash light
If the Green Dipped Beam light is flashing, it indicates the occurrence of a fault in the driving lamps system.

Thanks, it does look as though the cornering function is not working.

Re: Flashing head light dash light
If you have the cornering lights then see if they are now pointing down as far as they go, if they are and if it's like the C4 VTS then a good chance it is the level sensor on the rear suspension. I had three cars that did this so worth a look.
(on some of them unplugging the sensor and cleaning it plus the contacts fixed it for a while and at least proved what was wrong)

Re: Flashing head light dash light
I have this on my C5 X7 with directional xenon-lights. If I disable cornering lights, this doesn´t happen. I think there is some problem in xenon projectors movement side to side sometimes that is causing this.

Re: Flashing head light dash light
Ok, so confirmed that you have the earlier Xenon lamp design with directional lighting.
So a couple of things to try:
1) Try disabling them from the Menu accessed from the steering wheel scroll buttons temporarily, then operate the lights and see if they still flash.
2) Try Raising and lowering the suspension a few times to 'exercise' the height correctors.
3) Try a BSI Reset / Battery Disconnect / Reconnect Procedure to see if that will reinitialise the system.
I got a suspension fault on mine and the headlamp lights switched to non-directional mode whenever the suspension fault appeared. Had Citroen check it out as I also started to get height correction issues and refusal on occasion to raise or lower suspension (which of course affects the directional lighting).
Citroen replaced both the height correctors and problem solved. Now I can't recall if I ever had the flashing dipped beam warning light when this happened as it was in the daytime I noticed the issue and didn't hang about exactly.
