Well almost a guess Steve, the lady in red has a world famous surname from music and also films.

Does that help?

More of a hint to the surname, name 3 American male singers of the 20th century without thinking too hard, and the surname should come to mind.

Presley,..........,............, Its going to be 2 or 3

Image

So the lady in red is easiest to get

Then identify the film.....there werent that many from the lady in red

Then identify the other lady from that film

and the "icing on the cake" make the connection back to Hawkwind's Quark Strangeness and Charm

Have a go

How does Nancy Sinatra and Roberta Linn grab you? :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

They don't. Not often anyway.

Never heard of Roberta Linn.

I was thinking along the lines of Priscilla Presley but she doesn't match my fading memories of her.

The one on the left looks a bit like the Divine Miss M (Bette Middler) but not enough.

Nancy Sinatra is the lady in red but you may have the wrong film, the other one isnt Roberta Linn.

Maybe go back to the bands I mentioned as being in the film, to get the right one.

Regards Neil

PS I see Roberta Linn is in that film but the lady on my pic isnt Roberta :-D

My dad always said that Nancy Sinatra had a face that only a father could love.

Can't say that I agreed with him, she looked OK to me.

Yes "Get yourself a College Girl" which is what I came across it as is the same as the "Swinging Set".

Go to Daily Motion and watch the trailer for "Get Yourself a College Girl" and the other actress will be revealed. It wasnt Mary Ann Mobley.

At Neil's request - a quiz compiled from one of the books I was browsing through today.

Answers on a postcard please, to the usual address.
We're sorry that answers cannot be returned, but a prize will be given for any that are shown :-D

10 points for the make, 5 extra points for the exact model as per what the book says. Gibbo gets extra points for any that he sold or serviced

Please put your answers in a spoiler for now :)

Great looking quiz bobins but I'm tied up with the advent calendar so much that SWMBO is getting restless so I'll have to leave it to the rest to sort it out.
