1.6hdi HP fuel lines

Hi there.

If possible im after some advice if possible.
Ii think I have a tiny diesel leak coming form the nut for the high pressure fuel line where it enters the injector.

Does anybody know if there is a seal or 'olive' inside the nut, or is it possible to 'nip' it up a little.
Im certain that the in injector seal itself is not leaking.

The nut iam asking about s pictured. below.

I appreciate any help on this subject and thank you all in advance..

Can you pop your VIN up so we know exactly which engine you have. I'm having a problem matching that picture up with the engine in your Profile, so a better picture taken a little further away will also help.

Ah, I thought so. Just realised I still have your VIN from a previous enquiry if it's the one ending in 095.

But a photo of the actual one would be helpful.

Ok, so it's my understanding that the high pressure fuel pipes have to be replaced whenever they are removed (part of replacement procedure when replacing / refitting an injector). There are no separate seals showing - so they probably need replacing as a compete pipe once removed as the internal seals may no longer be as robust once removed or if they are already leaking.

If it is slack then nipping it up may sort it. If it isn't then it is not cheap to replace them. I have had mine removed a few times and managed to get it sealed by changing the angle slightly before tightening it. Flippin' ridiculous that it is an item that cannot be taken on and off without leakage.
