There you are Neil, within 10 minutes a positive flurry!!
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

I should have a walk up the street - there is a neighbour who goes right over the top, santas, trees, giraffes? and a couple of dozen snowmen, all lit up.CitroJim wrote: 25 Nov 2020, 17:58A poor attempt at grabbing a photo of some Christmas lights very early this morning..NewcastleFalcon wrote: 25 Nov 2020, 17:49 Who is going to supply a picture of the day on Wednesday 25th November 2020![]()

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Thank you one and all, it is a good thing to keep the content going. When I log in I like to have something new to look at/comment on/explore. Had the flurry not arrived I may well have dug out my metaphorical snail picture, or perhaps a gordon keeble tortoise (yes all turtles are tortoises but not all tortoises are turtles).
So tonight I join in with a July 1972 sunset over Melvaig 10 miles up a single track road from Gairloch from my "magic lantern" collection. Love the old fashioned caravan.
Regards Neil

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
One of the continuing active topics on the FCF over the last few days is this County Gallery (Originals Only)
Simple task to collect an original picture from every one of the traditional historic Counties of the British Isles.
Wales is done, Scotland as of now has 9 remaining Counties (Kircudbrightshire, Selkirkshire, Dunbartonshire, Stirlingshire, Clackmannanshire, Kinrossshire, Kincardineshire, Aberdeenshire, Banffshire), Ireland still awaiting its first.
But the fascinating fact is that the only remaining County in England out of the 39 in our particular gallery is Leicestershire.
What are the chances of this coincidence happening.....

Regards NeilLeicestershire is the last remaining English county without a registered flag. Six candidate designs are being voted on during November 2020.

As it happens I might be on a mercy mission tomorrow to Market Harborough so if nothing appears before I get home I may be able to post one then!!

With all of us now carrying smartphones you always have a camera about your person Peter
I never go anywhere without my smartphone these days and all of my photos are taken with it...
Even quite basic low-end ones have remarkably good cameras...

Spotted a top-secret Nissan today during my bike ride...
I assume it was a Nissan as it was seen near their European Technical Centre in Cranfield...

Had it about five years and just learned how to answer calls last week.

That's just a bit on the very budget side for a smartphone Steve... What is it?myglaren wrote: 26 Nov 2020, 14:28 Mine is largely rubbish Jim, but then the phone was only £25 - new, I hasten to add.
My old Nokia 5, which I regard as a basic low-end model, is very good and many of the low-light photos I publish are taken with it
I can understand that as despite being called 'phones they are rarely used for thatmyglaren wrote: 26 Nov 2020, 14:28 Had it about five years and just learned how to answer calls last week.
I have to consciously think how to answer mine on the rare occasions a valid (as again a spam one) call is incoming...
You are not alone
