blue tooth and hands free for poor owners RD4 on GP 2006

Post by habo »

So I had something like this https://www.skroutz.gr/s/11564866/Bluet ... eiver.html and broke, the truth is that for hands free was FTPΗ but for to listen musik from cel phone to RD4 was perfect to me .
Conclusion we do not go through it again nor do we make the effort to crouch if we find it thrown somewhere. .
I searched a bit to see what is on the market.

a)https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Citroen-C4-c ... SwdZdbh641
The cheapest of the various Manufacturer refurbished that this English company sells and that you have the steering wheel controls with an adapter, of course I do not
understand what happens to the menu and the settings of RD4.

b) https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3282159 ... hweb201603_
I literally do not understand if they work and how they work .

c) https://www.ebay.de/itm/BTA-Bluetooth-A ... SwB4NW1Y2q

Τhere are different yatour models that i do not understand what differences they have

d) https://www.amazon.co.uk/Mpow-Bluetooth ... r=8-1&th=1
Here we go to expenses that we do not mind and so if they do not come close to our dreams, Mpow seems a bit as reliable as the Chinese can be of course, just this model is a
bit weird that we put cables etc.

e) https://www.amazon.com/Mpow-Bluetooth-R ... M9HFH9VS4X
and here is the good old solution only that it is from a reliable company with thousands of positive reviews sto amazon and I just click it without headaches and think that we
have a COVID-19.

I would like your experience and how you solved this serious issue.
Sorry for my English because my wife did not want to help

Basically, don't change the RD4 Head Unit or you will lose car functions - almost guaranteed!

If you want Bluetooth you should use a separate kit and leave the original Head Unit alone for the least problems.

Get something like a Yatour - there are various models to chose from, and they each have different functions and prices, depending on what you want it to do.

They can use the CD connection port at the back of the RD4 to play MP3 files from a USB device (it mimics the CD changer).
They can also link to your phone via Bluetooth and play files that way and can also come with a separate microphone for Bluetooth phone calls.

This way, you will have all your RD4 functions and trip computer still working properly.
