Selsey lays claim to 9 of the original Pullman carriages, and you can stay in at least one of them via Airbnb.
https://www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms/37148080

Quote: "A unique and charming Pullman Victorian buffet carriage that was built in 1906 and named Princess Ena, She was one of the last three USA built cars used on British railways by the Pullman company.
The only one left of its kind, her interior is a delight to the eye of Pullman enthusiasts and guests looking for something unique."

For the more sedentary train spotters out there, a walk along East Beach Road and on to Park Copse at Selsey will help you fill up your train carriage related I-Spy books as numerous houses have old carriages incorporated into them :) From there, it's but a short journey up to Petworth where you can have tea in one of many of their preserved Pullmans at The Old Station. :)

Spoilt for choice down at Selsey..........

"During this 2 mile stroll the locations of 18 ‘railway homes’ will be identified and you could spot at least a further 10 other properties which are built around railway carriages. Several properties have been built to incorporate one or two railway coaches, while more modern buildings have also been constructed on the site of former carriages."

Not a bad price for the buyer £25 for 5 :-D Not collectors items pristine in the original box and in mint condition but still very cheap compared to the buying a truck or two new from Hornby :-D

Cheap they were, especially for Dublo, but you'd have to sell one of the Aries, can't have the same coach in two different places on your layout!! :-D

Used sets of that are £95-£120 on ebay. Where did you see that one? :)

Was lot no 941 at the auction you linked to. Additional fees look to be 29.94% on winning bid price at that auction.

links dont work!
