I did try - not easy as I left my keys upstairs and had to exit the back and walk round. Camera not having it though, can't seem to focus on her car. Refuses to do anything but shift focus back and forth. Flash does fire but only to provide light for focussing - although that is IR. May be the shininess of it combined with a few reflections.

If at first you don't succeed - pack it in and go home.

It was so much simpler when cameras did as they were told. They have got too clever for their own good.

I'll reset the camera clock and take one in the morning that will look like it was taken today.

Photos of original french alloy wheels from 0 spoke (ie solid) to 10 spoke (or more as long as there are no gaps)?

Keep them coming Mick, "Squashed Seagulls" are quite rare these days but I would be prepared to give the first suggestion received a go and its in pole position as of now!

A french car rainbow with a little latitude regarding exact shades.

Well a bit like on Pointless! There are usually 3 categories at the end game for people to find answers for so to broaden it as wide as possible answers in any of the suggested catgories could be accepted but my personal selection would be the "Rainbow" of French cars.

So I would suggest the First Day Challenge for Novenmber 1st 2020 is....


to supply original photos of french cars taken on the 1st November 2020, with all submissions having to be made by 23.59 and 59 seconds! today!

Red, and Yellow , and Pink (ish) and Blue, Orange and Purple and Green...should be easy enough collectively! and even individually.

I would reckon that within 200 metres of your own abode Jim someone will have an appropriately coloured French car. All you have to do is look suspicious, get your camera/phone out and take a pic of someone else's car on a tiny little stroll.
