No probs Jim, had you not made that petite faux-pas, I probably wouldnt have discovered that excellent piece from the Guardian about the the Rocky Marciano/Muhammad Ali computerised "contest" and how it was set up, and remarkably brought in a large audience and made plenty for the "promoters". Covered the political background too.
Ali was never going to "win" but the two men did forge a mutual respect in the somewhat bizzare process.

Even if you dont like boxing, or know nothing about it that article is worth a read. I remember the event well but didnt know the half of what was behind it.

The posts are rolling by these days and it's time for another celebratory car picture. Getting to the end of the easy to find engine sizes now but this one is worthy of a place in the list for its 4.1 litre motor:

Inspired by Jim's and Zel's efforts I decided to attack the mess at the back of my garage which is still stacked with Ken's belongings. I was not able to clear anything out but I built another set of shelves and rearranged everything so at least I can now access a lot more of it without having to move everything to get to any one thing:
As it was after stacking Ken's stuff

As it is with new shelves

Very satisfying, thanks for the inspiration chaps!! :-D

Wow! That's a vast improvement Mick :D

It's a good feeling isn't it :)

The difficult bit is keeping it neat and tidy... I do a bit of tidying and reorganising (as necessary) every day...

And I resist the temptation to acquire more 'useful' stuff even though it's difficult!
